THIS MONTH: Returning to Yourself

A practice that grows with you

Each month, A Pinch of Magick gathers around a central practice, giving you the space to explore one meaningful theme through podcast episodes, journal prompts, rituals, meditations, articles and community conversation.

Rather than rushing from one idea to the next, you are invited to stay with the practice long enough for it to alter how you see, choose and participate in your life.

I'm Rebecca Anuwen

I am an author, researcher, podcast host and creator of A Pinch of Magick, and for more than twenty years my work has explored how ritual, energy, story and intentional practice can change the way we experience ourselves and the world around us.

My understanding of magick has continued to deepen through my academic work and practice-based PhD research, where I explore how creative practices, community stories and place-based forms can shape the ways people notice, remember, interpret and relate to familiar places.

Both parts of my work grow from the same belief: magick is relationship.

Through A Pinch of Magick, I bring that philosophy into everyday life, offering practical ways to strengthen your relationship with yourself, your rhythms, your home, your community and the land beneath your feet.

There is no single correct way to live magickally.

Begin with what feels most useful now, then allow the practice to grow with you.

Where would you like to begin?

CURRENT SERIES
Begin with yourself

Self-care is one of the ways we tend our relationship with ourselves, especially when life has become demanding, fragmented or filled with other people’s needs.

Across thirteen podcast episodes, we are exploring physical, emotional, mental, energetic and spiritual self-care, with practical ways to recognise what you need, offer yourself meaningful support and create practices that belong inside your actual life.

You can follow the complete series through the podcast, then continue the practices inside the A Pinch of Magick app.

Magick is a practice of belonging

Come back into relationship

Magick begins in the way you meet what is already here: the body carrying you through the day, the home holding your life, the cycles shaping your energy, the people and places that remind you who you are, and the small moments that become meaningful when you give them your attention.

A Pinch of Magick offers practices that help you reconnect with those relationships, so that magick becomes something you live, experience and participate in rather than something you have to find time to perform.

1. Return to Yourself

Strengthen your self-trust, listen more closely to your needs and create practices that support who you are becoming.

2. Live in Rhythm

Work with your body, energy, seasons and personal cycles to create a rhythm that feels supportive and sustainable.

3. Belong Where You Are

Deepen your relationship with your home, community and surroundings through attention, ritual, story and everyday care.

You already live in relationship with your body, your rhythms, your home, your community and the land beneath your feet.

A Pinch of Magick helps you nourish those relationships with greater attention, intention and care, through practical rituals, reflective practices, seasonal wisdom and everyday acts of magick that can become part of a real human life.
